1,676 days. That's how many days Powered by Redstone has been live. Four years, seven months, and two days. I started this site when I was bored one night in middle school, and last month I graduated from high school.
I've seen this site evolve from a tiny blog on Google's Blogger service to be a prominent news site that I enjoyed writing for and managing every day. I've learned so much from managing this website over the past four years, and I can't express how much you, the readers, meant to me.
But in the last year, I've had increasingly less time to manage this site. You've probably noticed, especially in the past few months, there's been less and less articles. Throughout the four years I was the only writer that stuck around for more than a few months (I don't blame the other writers, it's not like I paid them or anything), and it's a lot of work to keep running.
That's why today I'm saying goodbye to Powered by Redstone. This site has been my hobby, a learning experience, and an outlet for my writing for nearly five years. I want to thank every one of you for visiting this site while it was running.
