Goodbye, Powered by Redstone.

1,676 days. That's how many days Powered by Redstone has been live. Four years, seven months, and two days. I started this site when I was bored one night in middle school, and last month I graduated from high school.

I've seen this site evolve from a tiny blog on Google's Blogger service to be a prominent news site that I enjoyed writing for and managing every day. I've learned so much from managing this website over the past four years, and I can't express how much you, the readers, meant to me.

But in the last year, I've had increasingly less time to manage this site. You've probably noticed, especially in the past few months, there's been less and less articles. Throughout the four years I was the only writer that stuck around for more than a few months (I don't blame the other writers, it's not like I paid them or anything), and it's a lot of work to keep running.

That's why today I'm saying goodbye to Powered by Redstone. This site has been my hobby, a learning experience, and an outlet for my writing for nearly five years. I want to thank every one of you for visiting this site while it was running.

- Corbin Davenport

  23. I cannot believe this just happened.... I loved this site....it was the source of all my information. But I guess all the good times end at some point. Thnx a lot Corbin. Goodbye PBR. And now suddenly, I got the PC version of minecraft after being a PE fan for SO LONG. But I just don't feel as much attached to minecraft as I was once b4.... I'm drifting away from one of my most favourite games. Idk why. Anyone else feel the same?
