Earlier Johan from Mojang announced there would be an update to Minecraft Pocket Edition, named PE 0.7.6, to fix various problems with Pocket Realms. Unfortunately, the release has been held back from this week to an unknown date.
The reason for the delay is unknown, as Johan has not tweeted it nor replied to anyone with an explanation. He simply tweeted, "There will unfortunately not be an new MCPE update this week." We will update you if more information becomes available.

ReplyDeleteWhat about redstone and rails
ReplyDeleteProbably not happening anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteyes, in minecraft PE 0.8.0 there will be rails, minecraft, powered rails etc... and redstone will also be mineable and will drop as redstone dust, but it will only be able to be used to craft so far
ReplyDeleteThere is no proof that those are in 0.8.0. Link or it didn't happen.

ReplyDeleteAh ok.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this information. When you obtain a date on which the 0.7.6 update is going to come out with this delay involved please reply. One more thing. I have heard rumors that the 0.8.0 update contains mineable redstone. Is this true?
ReplyDeleteMinecraft PE 0.7.6 is being submitted for review this week, which means it can be anywhere from two to three weeks from now until it can be downloaded (the app review process is extremely slow).
ReplyDeleteI think a while back Johan confirmed it, but I'm not 100% sure.
What I just want to now the update 0.8.0 and 0.9.0 I'm just wandering
ReplyDeleteI just got the update today. I was like: What the hell? Where's 0.8.0?
ReplyDeleteHurry up with it Mojang! Seriously, gosh!
You try making game updates that work perfectly on multiple platforms and have little to no bugs, and see how long it takes. :P
