Minecon 2013 is coming around the corner, and with tickets selling out almost instantly for the event in all three batches (we didn't get to go), and failed petitions to resell the tickets, this time around joining the event was harder than ever. Let's be honest, if everyone who wanted to go actually got a ticket, Mojang would have to rent out a small country.
But what can we expect from Minecon 2013? Will there be any groundbreaking announcements, or nothing spectacular? We have searched the web for exciting Minecon rumors, and information to back them up. Here's what to expect from Minecon 2013.
There you have it, those are our predictions for Minecon 2013. Keep in mind that they are all predictions, nothing is set in stone and everything could be radically different from what is listed here. Tell us what your predictions are in the comments!

- Minecraft PC Edition: We don't expect any large announcements from the PC Edition this year, but Mojang will certainly answer many questions about PC Edition and perhaps even add a few features based on community suggestions.
- Minecraft PlayStation Edition: There's a very good chance that news related to Minecraft for the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita will be announced. Minecraft for the PlayStation 4 will be released the same day the PS4 is released, November 15th. It's possible the PS3 and Vita editions may be released the same day, or possibly soon after.
- Minecraft Xbox Edition: The Xbox One release comes closer and closer, so 4J Studios is bound to announce some special news for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 ports. Perhaps a new update, or a texture pack or two?
- Minecraft Pocket Edition: When we asked Pocket Edition developer Tom for info about Pocket Edition at Minecon, he replied with "uhm, nothing "special", I guess we'll just explain the new features." So there you have it :P
- Minecraft Pi Edition: Minecraft Pi Edition (the Minecraft port released for the $25 Raspberry Pi computer) has been quiet since it's release, with not a single update being released. The first version was announced at Minecon 2012, could the next be announced at Minecon 2013?
