Today Mojang made a post on their company blog explaining where they are in development of Pocket Edition. It's a bit odd, considering they haven't used their blog to talk about Pocket Edition in a very long time. Regardless, they do have some interesting news for us starting with Pocket Realms. The post reads, "Another note for those of you who are involved in the beta testing phase of Pocket Realms: we’re pausing access to the service on the 1st of March. The Realms team is currently focused on the upcoming release of PC Realms. Once that’s done, we’ll be in a better place to work on Pocket Realms and make it as good as it possibly can be, which will be later this year."
The page goes on to mention that a date for Pocket Realms to start back up again is unknown at this time, and if when it does come back on it will still be in beta. Pocket Realms is currently in a closed beta, and when it is completed will be a paid service by Mojang.
The post does have some better news though, as seen above wolves are currently being added to PE 0.9.0. The above picture is captioned with, "We’re working on restructuring a lot of code to allow significantly bigger worlds in future updates. We’re also updating the AI, inventory, and a bunch of other things. Unfortunately we don’t have a release date yet, but so far, everything is going to plan."
So there you have it, Pocket Realms is shutting down for an undisclosed amount of time and wolves are confirmed for Pocket Edition 0.9.0. You can see the original post in the source link below, and let us know in the comments what other mobs you would like to see in 0.9.0!

ReplyDeleteI love wolves, they taste like chicken!
ReplyDeleteDoes Pocket Realms include severs like LifeBoat?
ReplyDeleteNo, that is an external server. Pocket Realms is only the 'private' servers created by Mojang.
ReplyDeleteYESSsSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!#creepergoesboom
ReplyDeleteThey should add spider and chicken jockeys
ReplyDeleteI see raw beef in his hand and a used iron sword in creative!
ReplyDeleteDid anyone notice that he was in a village hose?
ReplyDelete*house*
ReplyDeleteDid anyone notice that the dog was in the npc village house
ReplyDeleteOK, thanks for the info. :D
ReplyDeleteSeems like the sword is either a bug or we can now switch gamemodes, as well as adding all the items into creative mode, not just the blocks. That is not an NPC house, it is custom looking, it may be. Now where are my cats and horses?
ReplyDeleteAre wolves going to do everything thing they do in the PC or will something be different due to having to be on a iPad, iOS, or Android?
ReplyDeleteActually if download the app pocketinvetor you can change game mode, edit inventory, or give you stuff that's hidden in the game code.
ReplyDeletePS if you give stone bricks a damage of 3 you will get chiseled stone bricks when you get back on! Trust me.
No. Everything will be the same. Like it says in the description above they are updating the AI for the new mobs :)
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD IT WORKED!!! That's amazing! You should find more secrets for mcpe :)
ReplyDeleteThere are lifeboat survival games. I forget how to do it cause I haven't played it in a while but it's on there. Look up "How to get Lifeboat survival games" on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteGive the spawn egg a damage of 63-67 and you will get hostile spawn eggs. (:
