After eleven public Android betas and two weeks, the final version of Minecraft PE 0.9.0 has been submitted to Apple. We assume the update has been submitted to the Play Store and Amazon App Store as well, but that has not been confirmed.
So now that it's been submitted to Apple, it's in their hands for the most part. Their review can take anywhere from a few days - two weeks, and unfortunately for Android owners Mojang will not make it live for all platforms until Apple approves it.
We have contacted Mojang for a comment on approval for Play Store/Amazon App Store, but in the mean time check out the source link below for the original tweet.

Love the way you included play store and amazon app store in this, since every one is celebrating about apple submission, but android/amazon are not even recognized, especially Amazon.
ReplyDeleteYea, cause they all suck! GO APPLE :D
ReplyDeleteDude really........ :(
ReplyDeleteYou know Apple devices don't last as much as android or amazon devices.
Go amazon android they beast
ReplyDeleteBUUUUT, 99% of Android users have installed malware on their phone, compared to about 3% of Apple users. And Android has really lame software names, KitKat? Jellybean? Cupcake? Seriously?! I'll stick with iOS (number)
ReplyDeleteYes finally! I just hope it doesn't lag too much on my ipod 5 :) thanks
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get that statistic? I've owned an Android device for nearly four years and never once had a virus. And it kinda looks like you're running out of reasons when you say it's names stink.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!!! Been waiting for so long!
ReplyDeleteIt should not lag very much because it is a multi core device.
ReplyDeleteTechniqually it's 12 public betas I think. Tomcc said that there was a 12 beta but it was short and only lasted a little. Correct me if I'm wrong
ReplyDeleteI agree
ReplyDeleteapple better hurry up...
ReplyDeleteI have question too. I have an iPod 4, will it lag too much for me to play it?
Well you won't be able to play infinite worlds, but there's an option to create "old worlds" (has new biomes but is only 256x256) and it should run just fine! :)
ReplyDeleteI beg to differ.
ReplyDeleteI still have an iPhone 4, and I think that android isn't nearly as good looking or fast as iOS 7.1.1.
And I will keep that on my head as long as I live.
However I don't like mac for PC.
I still prefer Windows 8.1, if I had it.
I don't have a PC for minecraft. Will I still be able to get a skin?
ReplyDeleteYES FINALLY !!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think you can play on infinite worlds on most single-core devices, it will just be slow. Can't confirm until it arrives on iOS though.
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS AMAZING!
ReplyDeletePocket Edition is not linked to PC in this way, I don't think. You will probably not be able to get a custom skin, but you WILL be able to get a built-in skin, I think. Right Corbin?
ReplyDeleteWho has an iPod 5th Generation that LAGS? I have an iPhone 3GS. Now that lags. An iPod 5th Gen. would NEVER lag.
ReplyDeleteI think PCs are pro computers, with the right software and tools, but Macs are easier to use. And have more compatibility.
ReplyDeleteYay! Finally, after over half a year! Too bad there's no redstone or commands, but I'm happy!
ReplyDeleteYou cannot change your skin officially in 0.9.0.
ReplyDelete0.9.0 might come out in 5-10 days
ReplyDeleteOr less.
ReplyDeleteYeah, because Android already got it, and this topic is about submitting it to APPLE, so pretty much this is about apple, not Amazon, not Android, but Apple.
ReplyDeleteDa iPod 5 doesn't lag. The iPhone 3GS (what I have) lags. You're lucky.
ReplyDeleteor more!
ReplyDeleteNow what about Amazon, Android had the BETA BUILD not the full version plus what you said kind of makes you a complete jerk to other players, plus Even if "apple" got it submitted then why didnt they mention android and amazon
ReplyDeleteYhshjdjsksksmsmdmdjejejdjjd yessssssssssssss
ReplyDeleteHow would you like it if you had a android or Amazon device and someone said that to you? If you don't stop posting things like that, I'll report it to the site and they'll ban you!?? Don't just post things like that please it hurts my feelings because I have a Amazon device? Please stop being a jerk.
ReplyDeleteWow. Your right... I never thought of it like that sorry to offend you bro.
ReplyDeleteIt lags if you place a lot of animals but that's me I cover my world in animals then...........its tnt time
ReplyDeleteYea android got the betas but they didn't get the 2.0 injustice update.
ReplyDeleteMore or less, I'm just happy the waits almost over :D
ReplyDeleteWait, what?
ReplyDeletei agree!
ReplyDeleteCalm it Bruce Wayne, or I will tell the Joker where you live, hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteThank you. That's OK.
ReplyDeleteAGREED
ReplyDeleteAmazon is no where near getting it yet, Android isn't TOO close, and PBR has been talking about Android betas a lot.
ReplyDeleteMcpe 0.7.6 was released in July 4, imagine if the 0.9.0 was released on July 4, that would be cool!!!
ReplyDeleteOr 0.9.0. Will come out next week or this week
ReplyDeleteSo exited but we've been waiting since December! Let's hope this update is as good a they said it was gonna be.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Apple reviewing minecraft pe 0.9.0? Becase I'm on Guam
ReplyDeleteIt's already July 7th or something! At Guam
ReplyDeleteI don't know about u though
Will it be really laggy on an iPod touch 3 or 4?
ReplyDeleteInfinite worlds might be.
ReplyDeletePlease answer!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWould infinite worlds lag on kindle fire HD 7'' 1st gen.?
