"Modders, uh, find a way." This quote from Jurrassic Park (or something like that...) pretty much sums up this mod created by Reddit user FyberOptic. He posted this picture earlier today on the Minecraft subreddit, with the title "Endermen discovered the power to travel back in time to Minecraft Alpha. Somehow I feel responsible, but everything is a blank!"
FyberOptic has recently been experimenting with Minecraft Alpha 1.2.5 and Beta 1.7.3, backporting some features from newer versions. His modded versions adds features like local console commands, redstone hoppers, new options, and more.
If you're feeling nostalgic, you can download his mods here. Be warned that you need to use the MultiMC launcher to use the mods, as the vanilla Minecraft launcher causes it to crash.
