Today on Twitter, Jens posted yet another Minecraft 1.10 screenshot - this time of the Nether. With the caption, "Have another 1.10 screenshot, but don't step on it", it's safe to guess the new orange blocks in the screenshot are somehow dangerous.
Minecraft 1.10 is still very much in early development, but with Minecraft 1.9 adding so many new features to the Overworld, it would make sense to give The Nether some well-deserved love with the 1.10 update.
We will keep you updated on Minecraft 1.10 details as they are released.

awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt might be lava-infused netherrack, so netherrack with lava flowing through the rocks. Stepping on it could set you on fire the same way lava does!

ReplyDeleteyou could even use it as protection against mobs like cacti.
ReplyDeleteGood idea, especially considering you won't have a huge wall around your house/shelter and that you can just block the effects with a Fire Resistance Potion, unlike cacti.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I was thinking!
ReplyDeleteWould be nice if it is act like a sponge "sorry for my bad english"
